Drug and gene delivery:

Non-toxic and efficient drug and gene delivery is an absolute necessity for curing most of the pathophysiological conditions. However, the relevant technology is not quite satisfactory for safe universal application despite the existence of many protocols in the relevant field. Our lab has discovered and established Ca-apatite nanoparticle as a successful and efficient carrier for drug and transgene delivery into cell and animal model. Our study has effectively applied in multiple disease models with great efficacy of the delivered molecule, and has been pushing the field forward.
